We are pleased to share that we are hosting a trunk show from Julia’s Needleworks that includes a lovely selection of Tallit and Tefillin Bags from Bracha Lavee and several other designers. Trunk show canvases will be in the shop (but not on the website) through July Fourth and are priced 20% below retail.* We encourage you to stop by and see this beautiful collection.

We are excited to have added canvases by Elizabeth Crane Swartz and Jeni Sandberg to our collection. Each woman designs with a unique and appealing aesthetic that spurs us to get started stitching!

Elizabeth Crane Swartz applies her extraordinary sense of color to create cheerful combinations of circles that can be stitched as stash-busters or serve as excuses to indulge in some satisfying color play. We have several of Elizabeth’s canvases, including inserts, eyeglass cases, and a brick cover, in the shop and are happy to order any others on your behalf. * |

Jeni Sandberg draws on her experience as a specialist in 20th-Century design to transform classic designs into contemporary needlepoint canvases. You can learn more about Jeni, including her stint on the Antiques Roadshow, here. We have a variety of Jeni’s canvases, including eyeglass cases, clutches, and inserts, in the shop and would find it a pleasure to order any on your behalf. * |

Wedding season is in full swing at the shop, and we are celebrating with new canvases, stunning finishes, and commemorative stitching. We are particularly happy because Leslie’s son will be tying the knot in Portugal on Saturday, July 15. To mark the occasion, Leslie stitched this lovely canvas, custom painted by our in-house painter Christie Root, and had it finished into a lovely pillow. We are always happy to satisfy your custom painting needs!

Important scheduling notes:Wedding Closing: The shop will be closed Wednesday, July 19 - Friday, July 21 and will reopen Saturday, July 22 at 10 a.m. Holiday 2023 Finishing Deadlines: July 15, 2023 for leather goods (including belts and key fobs) August 1, 2023 for non-leather goods (including ornamnents, stockings, pillows, stand-ups and 3D objects).
