Please click here to access our Book An Appointment page. Stitching LessonsStitching Lesson appointments are a protected 1 hour of time with one of our in-shop expert stitchers! Whether you are new to needlepointing (in which case, welcome!) or you are a seasoned stitcher looking for hands-on teaching to learn a new stitch or two, the Stitching Lesson appointment will provide you with the opportunity to work together with our experts and walk away from the lesson with a better understanding of moving thread over the canvas! For this appointment, there is a $75 fee which helps to ensure that your time with our experts is protected so you can maximize your learnings from each lesson! Stitch ConsultationWe are offering a new appointment option! Meet our “Stitch Consultation” appointment. Book this appointment if you would like to partner with one of our shop experts to create a unique stitching plan that is custom-tailored for your canvas. A fresh canvas can be overwhelming so let us work with you to plan the canvas of your dreams with carefully selected decorative stitches. For this appointment, there will be a fee depending on the size and intricacy of the canvas. Of note, this is a flat fee for each canvas and includes a project booklet to keep track of each stitch you select for different areas on the canvas. Subsequent appointments for the same canvas are included in this one-time fee and we cannot wait to work with you and see how the canvas evolves as you stitch it! Pulling ThreadsWe pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of fiber options for you to choose from when you are kitting your canvas however, the number of options can be overwhelming! Booking a Pulling Threads appointment can help you navigate the vast fiber options in the shop and allow you to optimize your creativity with your canvas (and maybe even introduce you to a new fiber or two!). Pulling Thread appointments are 30 minutes in length and there will be a $20 fee when you purchase your fibers. Of note, if you bring in a canvas purchased at Hillside for this appointment, the fee is subject to be waived in addition to the 20% discount on threads purchased for a canvas you obtained from Hillside. Custom Canvas Design FeeSometimes the canvas that you want to stitch may not exist… yet! When you meet and work with our in-house custom canvas designer and painter, we can help you bring your design to reality. Custom Canvas Design appointments have a $25 fee that will be applied toward the final cost of the canvas and includes two mock-ups of the canvas. Any additional mock-ups or modifications beyond the included two will be subject to an additional fee.
